About Gary Bland

Gary Bland is a UK-based singer, writer and creator of live entertainment productions whose work spans theatre performance, cabaret and original stage concepts.

Unlike many performers, Gary began his stage career later in life after discovering a passion for singing and live performance. What began as a personal challenge soon developed into a serious pursuit of music, theatre and storytelling.

Following early performances in cabaret venues and open mic settings, Gary successfully auditioned for a musical production connected with The Old Vic, marking the beginning of his stage career. From there he went on to perform in a variety of theatre and cabaret productions, developing a style that combines music, humour and audience engagement.

Alongside performing, Gary creates original entertainment concepts and stage productions designed for theatres, cruise entertainment programmes and cabaret venues.

One of these productions is The Cocktails Show, an interactive musical format in which audience selections influence the songs performed during the show. Because the audience choices change each night, every performance is different.

Gary also writes, produces and presents the jazz programme Forty Shades of Jazz, exploring the music and stories behind classic jazz recordings and artists.

His work brings together live performance, musical storytelling and original creative development, with a focus on creating engaging and memorable experiences for audiences.
